Polish Archaisms against their Equivalents in Bulgarian

The subject are Polish archaic words whose equivalents in active use modern Bulgarian. aim is to reveal the composition of this group archaisms and show main reasons that led Polish-Bulgarian asymmetry terms archaism. conducted research shows about 140 lexemes have been archaized present Among them, lexical semantic prevail, while a smaller number. thematically studied belong mainly categories related human, for example, physical mental characteristics, everyday life or interpersonal relations. By origin, both native borrowed words.
